In Piazza Foglia a Rozzano (MI) the concert for the end of the year by 500 students of music of Elementary Schools on Via Milano and Via Garofani, Scholastic Circle #2 will take palce. Maestro Andrea Gie’ is the Director of the Chorus. The music students will be accompanied by the Civic Band of Rozzano con its director Maestro Lo Preiato.
Mayor Dr. Masasimo D’Avolio and the Assessor of Public Instruction, Dr. Domenici will be present.
Thursday, November 13, 2008 – The Music Band of Rozzano and 500 children of the two Elementary Schools of the Scholastic Circle No. 2, pupils of the project “Musical Maestro” of 11 Note will make music together in the piazza.
It was thought to substitute a little work of the end of the year with an event which would give all the children the possibility of showing how much they have learned about reading music and song.
The children of the schools will join their voices, Maestro Andrea Giè will compose the music and direct the choir, while the Musical Band of Rozzano will support them in the undertaking.
The citizens of Rozzano will see how much our children have studied and how much they are entertained.
The Friends of 11 Note have already provided for a series of meetings for subdividing the organizational duties because this will be an unforgettable event for the children and for Rozzano.
The collection of funds will also be mentioned. In order not to neglect this important part, we write again the banking information for 11Note and invite all of those who wish to help to do so immediately.

10 clarinets and 10 flutes have finaly arrived at school on Via Garofani of the Scholastic Circle No. 2.
And so another 20 children have started the the study of an musical instrument, consisting not only of a weekly individual lesson but also one hour per day of study of the instrument.
The teachers are diplomated professors of the Conservatory and chosen by Maestro Andrea Gie’, artistic director of 11Note, composer and director of the orchestra, placing particular attention to their teaching skills.
Another 40 children will be the components of the established Chorus of the the school on Via Garofani.
Another 250 children will learn to read and writis completed e music and to sing together.
Thus the inclusion of this Scholastic Circle into the project “Music Maestro” is completed.
11Note, beginning in the scholastic year 2007, has led to musical culture more than 500 children from the early elementary school.
The volunteers of 11 Note feel very satisfied.
WEDNESDAY, June 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m.
At the Cinema Teatro Fellini, Viale Lombardia 53, Rozzano (MI) the little opera “From the Crib to the Trumpet” will be presented in which all of the pupils of the Via Milano Elementary School will participate in the role of choir members, actors, dancers, and other important organizational roles.
The music has already been specially composed by Maestro Andrea Gie’, the text by Marcella Lenarduzzi. The arranger of the text, director, set designer and general coordinator is teacher and Vice-Director, Dr. Wanda Zurrida.
Thursday May 29, 2008, at 4:30 P.M. at the Via Garofani Elementary School at Rozzano (MI), the annual classical guitar and piano recital will be held by the instrumental students of the Via Milano Elementary School at Rozzano (MI).
Nota: the Scholastic Circle No. 2 of the Elementary Schools if Rozzano include two schools, that of Via Milano and that of Via Garofani.
The Via Milano Elementary School was the first to be included in the project of 11Note “Music Maestro” for the elementary school children.
The pianos were housed by the adjacent Via Garofani School because of space.
The next scholastic year 2008/2009 will see included in the program “Music Maestro” the second Elementary School of Scholastic Circle No. 2. The program will be the same: there will be different instruments. The children will study clarinet and the flute.
